The Two SEO Experts You Should Be Following Cover Photo

Since writing this blog, SEO has become my new obsession. I just enjoy researching SEO, finding out new tips and tricks and generally just learning about it. Since doing so, I have come across many SEO experts, “experts” and a few digital marketing agencies that create a lot of content around the subject. I think there are two specifically that if you are interested in SEO, or own a website in general, that you should be following.

Backlinko Twitter

Brian Dean

First of is the SEO guru Brian Dean. I stumbled upon his website, Backlinko, when looking for more information about on-page SEO and naturally, his post comes up first in the search results. If that doesn’t tell you that he is good at what he does, then I don’t know what will.

I shares lots of information about SEO regularly on his twitter and blog. I also just recently signed up for his newsletter which so far, has been really promising and I have learn’t a few tricks already. You should definitely go check him out and follow him on twitter @Backlinko.

Rand Fishkin Twitter

Rand Fishkin

Rand Fishkin is absolutely someone you should know if you are in the SEO or marketing community. He is really well known for his SEO work at Moz and he has since progressed to talk more about entrepreneurship and marketing. That is why I recommend not only following him @RandFish but also following his company @Moz.

One thing particularly great about Moz is their whiteboard Fridays. These are video sessions every week about different SEO topics and are really informative. They used to be taught by Rand himself but other employees over at Moz have since taken over the teaching role.

Moz Twitter

I would love to know who your favourite SEO experts are so please share them in the comments below and I will be sure to check them out. I hope you have enjoyed this post and have already gone and followed these three accounts. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
